Comedy Central rounds out cast for upcoming series, “Another Period,” with Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome

You cannot have a period piece without a lot of punctuation.

I’ll see myself out, but not before running on and on about the casting news for Comedy Central’s new historical satire series, Another Period, which has begun production in Los Angeles.

Joining stars, writers and executive producers Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome for the debut 10-episode season in 2015? Lauren Ash, Michael Ian Black, Paget Brewster, Beth Dover, Brett Gelman, Brian Huskey, David Koechner, Jason Ritter, David Wain and Armen Weitzman.

The series follows sisters Lillian (Leggero) and Beatrice (Lindhome) Bellacourt in turn-of-the-century (19th into 20th, that is) Newport, R.I., where they have too much money and too little to show for it. All they care about is maintaining their fame and their looks. In 1902.

Jeremy Konner (Drunk History) directs. Joining Leggero and Lindhome as executive producers are Red Hour’s Ben Stiller, Debbie Liebling, Stuart Cornfeld and Mike Rosenstein.
