@midnight taping week of shows in NYC for 2014 New York Comedy Festival

Comedy Central’s late-night comedy “game show” and Twitter takeover expert, @midnight, is making its first road trip, heading to New York City to tape a week’s worth of shows during the New York Comedy Festival, airing Nov. 3-6, 2014.

Host Chris Hardwick and the crew will tape the four broadcasts at ABC Television Center in Manhattan. Request tickets to watch the full thing from the studio audience by heading to www.nycomedyfestival.com.

“Sure, we get a lot of comedians to come onto our show in Los Angeles, but we felt in order to get the choicest, juiciest comedy specimens we needed to go straight to the nest where they live and breed — The New York Comedy Festival,” said Hardwick.

Comedy Central recently renewed @midnight for another full season of 40 weeks that will extend the series through 2015, airing after fresh episodes of The Colbert Report.

The half-hour show that jokes about current headlines and social media memes attracts an average of 775,000 viewers nightly, ranking third in late-night among the network’s key demographics of men 18-34, men 18-24 and everyone 18-24.

@midnight is produced by Funny Or Die with Serious Business, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Comedy Central.
