Katt Williams 911 call a well-timed reminder of new movie, “School Dance”

In the early morning hours of July 2, 2014, the proceedings outside The Comedy Store on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip suddenly became more of a battleground than the Roast Battle happening inside it.

Someone called 911 and claimed Katt Williams had a gun, so the cops showed up, holding their firearms. But when they showed up, there was no Katt. And he allegedly had no gun.

All’s well that ends well?

Well, coincidentally or not, Katt Williams has been promoting his new felonious role in the movie, School Dance, which just so happened to premiere July 2, 2014, in limited cinema locations and everywhere you can find it On Demand or iTunes. Nick Cannon directed and co-wrote School Dance, which is loaded with parts for other comedians, including Mike Epps, Luenell, George Lopez, Lil Duval, Tiffany Haddish, Jim Breuer, Jessica Kirson and even a Kevin Hart cameo. It stars Bobb’e J. Thompson.
