Joe Matarese’s audition for America’s Got Talent 2014

Joe Matarese has been performing stand-up comedy since he was 19, and now that he’s onstage on America’s Got Talent talking about being a father of two at 46, you can do the math that he’s been at this for 25 years. His podcast is called Fixing Joe.

Judging from his audition on AGT tonight, whatever problems he had getting that next big break may well be on their way to being fixed! His jokes about getting older in his 40s and dealing with two young kids slayed with the judges and earned him a standing ovation from them and the audience. Bonus points for having his kids and his wife watching from the wings. It’ll certainly endear him even more to people just getting to see Matarese for the first time here.
