Splitsider Presents: “A Night At Whiplash,” a stand-up concert film

The website Splitsider has released its second movie today, this one a stand-up concert film documenting one of New York City’s best weekly comedy shows — “Whiplash,” hosted by Leo Allen and produced by Jeremy Levenbach each Monday at 11 for free at the UCB Theatre in Chelsea.

A Night At Whiplash costs $5 and features performances by Allen with Sheng Wang, Carmen Lynch, Eugene Mirman, Janeane Garofalo, Jared Logan, Michael Che and Sean Patton. It comes as both HD and SD download, and HD stream, with full audio available in FLAC, MP3 and streaming formats.

As Splitsider founding editor Adam Frucci, an executive producer on the film, writes today: “Every comic in the movie gets a percentage of every purchase, so buying it truly supports independent comedy. Making A Night at Whiplash was a real labor of love, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I hope you like it!”
