Catch up with Eddie Izzard’s new Force Majeure tour online via BitTorrent Bundle

Eddie Izzard‘s new American stand-up tour, Force Majeure, kicked off last night in Washington, D.C., with the first of three nights at the Warner Theatre. His tour continues through May and June up to July 2, 2014, for now — with dates in 20 states (32 cities, 51 shows).

He already has taken his tour global over the past year, crossing five continents and including runs in which he has delivered the show in French, German or English, depending upon the primary language of his audience.

Here, it’ll be dressed-down for us. Literally. You want to know more?

Well, wouldn’t you know, he appeared this week on the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick!

Listen to Eddie Izzard talk to Chris Hardwick and the Nerdist crew about Force Majeure and more.

Last week, Izzard talked kale and Coldplay with Craig Ferguson.

That’s all well and good and nice, but what if you cannot see him live in a city near you — then what?

The Force Majeure BitTorrent Bundle features six Eddie Izzard videos, including two unreleased clips from the Force Majeure tour. You’ll also get memes, gifs, photos, plus running routes and a tour poster in case you want to catch Eddie live.

Wait. A BitTorrent? You mean Izzard is giving stuff away to the Internet pirates? Oxymoron, that? Izzard says, “If you say you’re going to play the world, you should really play the world. Comedy works across national frontiers. Releasing Force Majeure as a BitTorrent Bundle allows me to bring the tour to the world beyond the stage.”

Here is a free clip from his previous arena tour, in which he discusses our inability to deal with iTunes updates and the ever-evolving nature of technology and information. Roll it!
