NBC’s Late Night pickle gets passed on, from David Letterman, to Conan O’Brien, to Jimmy Fallon, and now to Seth Meyers

If you think the Late Night franchise at NBC is in a pickle, well, you’re half right. There is a pickle involved. But this is a different sort of dill, er, I mean, deal.

On Tuesday night, Jimmy Fallon passed the pickle onto Seth Meyers — the same one he’d received Conan O’Brien, who had it handed down to him from David Letterman and his staff, the original holders of the NBC Late Night title and time slot.
