Stephen Colbert accepts Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album on “The Colbert Report,” closes in on “other” EGOT

Stephen Colbert wasn’t in Los Angeles on Sunday night for the Grammy Awards to win his second trophy, this time for Best Spoken Word Album. Which means, as Colbert pointed out with his first Grammy in hand on Monday night’s episode of The Colbert Report, he’s so good at speaking words, he should get paid just to speak words. Let it be spoken. Let it be done.

Colbert also pointed out that he’s now that much closer to an EGOT, if you think EGOT stands for Emmy, Grammy, Other Grammy and The People’s Choice Award.

You might not want to see what Colbert reveals about the backside of the actual Grammy Award.

Roll it!
