Bill Cosby on being a grandfather, on Late Show with David Letterman

Bill Cosby sat down for another stand-up set on Monday night’s Late Show with David Letterman, then sat down with Letterman for a delightful panel chat.

This time around, Cos wanted us to know what it’s like for him as a grandfather, thinking that a pinata at a 5-year-old’s birthday party would still be a good idea. I wish I could say this story has a happy ending.

Roll the clip!

What makes Cos laugh, though? Here is a clip of the legend Bill Cosby telling the talk-show legend David Letterman about the time long ago when he was young and watching Jack Benny. This is the bit that has stayed with him, lo these many years.

Then, Cos told Dave about going to Temple University on a track scholarship, but only if he took the SAT. The answer is C. C for Cosby.
