Comedy Gives Back with 24-hour telethon, live and online, for Malaria No More

Comedy Gives Back will produce a 24-hour international digital telethon next month — with comedians such as Kevin Nealon, Dane Cook and Adam Devine seen above promoting it — in live comedy shows in New York City, Los Angeles, London and Sydney, and wherever you have a screen to livestream it via Dailymotion. All to benefit Malaria No More (www.MalariaNoMore.org), a charitable organization striving to end deaths from malaria.

Talent lined up to perform so far includes: Greg Behrendt, Adam Bloom, Jim Breuer, Ronny Chieng, Dane Cook, Rhys Darby, Adam Hills, Marc Maron, Rove McManus, Eugene Mirman, and Kevin Nealon.

Get tickets for the live stand-up shows at www.comedygivesback.com/tickets. In person, you can catch the action at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City (it’s part of the New York Comedy Festival), The Improv in Los Angeles, The Leicester Square Theatre in London, and The Comedy Store in Sydney. That’ll cover half of the 24 hours. The other half? Live-streamed shows with online hosts, including Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Pollak, Scott Aukerman and Comedy Bang Bang, Shira Lazar and What’s Trending.

Dailymotion will also be the sole distributor of the live stand up shows Video On Demand following the free 24 hour live-stream on Nov. 6-7. VOD content will be available on November 9.

“We are so inspired by the comedy community who has rallied to help make our vision a reality to create a day of laughter, to raise money and awareness for Malaria No More,” says Zoe Friedman, Co-Founder of Comedy Gives Back. “And with the telethon being distributed digitally, a donation to this worthy cause is simply a click away.”

Friedman’s other co-founders are Amber J. Lawson and Jodi Lieberman.
