Louis C.K. and Conan O’Brien remember their first days on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 1993

Louis C.K. is in Los Angeles for the upcoming Emmy Awards on Sunday night, but he certainly got into the spirit of #tbt last night as he and Conan O’Brien went total Throwback Thursday on Conan by reminiscing about their first days and nights on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 1993.

That photo above shows Conan and his original writers on their first official day on the air, Sept. 13, 1993.

O’Brien jokes about how C.K., in front of him, is the only one not looking directly into the camera. Andy Richter has covered the lower half of his face. Robert Smigel is on the other side of Conan; Bob Odenkirk is on the far left end of the photo. Dino Stamatopoulos is behind C.K. and next to Richter. Whom else can you identify in the photo?

As they recall those first few months, we’re treated to stories of playful fighting and the sheer battle it took just to keep Conan on the air.

Roll the clip!
