Graphic of the Day: Late-night TV covers Obama climate plan ignored by Sunday morning talk shows

President Barack Obama gave a big speech last week about climate change and carbon pollution. Or as the science people who use big words like to call the problem: Global warning.

As ThinkProgress discovered in the days since Obama’s speech, his solution received coverage and opinions from the TV networks — just not in the time slot during which you’d expect and hope it to be discussed.

While Jay Leno and David Letterman both cracked wise about climate, and The Daily Show with guest host John Oliver devoted a few minutes to the topic, it received nary a second of time — neither Fahrenheit nor Celsius — from any of the broadcast network Sunday-morning political talk shows, nor even CNN or FOX News.
