Joe Matarese on Late Show with David Letterman

Joe Matarese has been on Late Show with David Letterman before. But now he is getting older (we’re all getting older, don’t you know), and Matarese is recognizing some of the signs of his own middle age in his most recent stand-up performance on Letterman this week.

For one thing, he’s on a softball team for people older than 40. That’ll do it. He also deals with anxiety differently in both parenting and life, which serves him well in some cases — and yet, his wife, a psychologist, sends him to a psychiatrist whose questioning makes Materese question himself a whole lot more.

Roll the clip!
