Jimmy Kimmel’s five-drink toast to his fellow Time 100 influencers

Jimmy Kimmel raised a glass, and another glass, and another, and another, and another to toast his fellow influencers on TIME magazine’s arbitrary list of who’s who in influencing 2013.

With his once and future late-night TV competitor Jimmy Fallon handing him drinks, Kimmel toasted Lena Dunham, Bassem Youssef, Fallon, and Vice President Joe Biden “maybe the funniest out of all of us.” Kimmel also raised a glass to toast all 100 of the so-called influencers.

To Fallon, Kimmel said:

“Jimmy is probably a bigger influence on me than anyone in this room, because he’s so talented and energetic that he forces me to be the best that I can be. Quite frankly, it’s a pain in the ass. I’d appreciate if you slowed down a little. But I love him. And I want to toast my future rival, Jimmy Fallon, who’s getting me very very drunk.”

Suffice it to say, Kimmel and Fallon are going to be very good-natured rivals when Fallon’s show moves to 11:35 p.m. in spring 2014 to go head-to-head with Kimmel’s show in late-night TV talk.
