James Adomian as Marc Maron in IFC/Funny or Die webseries, “Maron in Space”

If you’ve never imagined Marc Maron in a Star Trek parody, then here’s your chance to do so, with an added twist: That’s comedian James Adomian as Maron in “Maron in Space,” a new webseries from Funny or Die and IFC just in time to promote Maron’s new IFC’s series, Maron.

Is that enough Maron for you?

“Marc Maron has such a hilariously comedic voice that I figured if I was going to do an impression of him, the only way to really get inside his head was to put him in outer space,” Adomian said.

So “Maron in Space” finds this Maron at the helm of the Starship Maroner, under attack from “The Hive” and the Hive Lord.

Or if you prefer YouTube, here you go!

Part II of “The Hive Mind,” in which “this time we really get into it.”

Did someone say feline problems?

In episode four, “The Unitus Question,” Maron explains love to a robot. Stay for the Twitter Tweet Trolls!

And in the finale, Maron meets Maron. His doppelganger. Yes. We good?

All five webisodes of Maron In Space are available now on IFC.com or via Funny or Die/Maron. It’s created and written by Adomian and comedian John Roy and directed by Chris VanArtsdalen and Jefferson Dutton, two members of The Birthday Boys, whose own sketch series will premiere on IFC later this year.

Maron debuts on IFC on May 3.
