On Conan, Nate Bargatze talks about his father’s magic, clowning; pranks his friend

Nate Bargatze returned to perform on Conan again on Monday night, but some friends and family also joined him on the TBS stage in story form.

So congrats to Luis J. Gomez for his first de facto late-night TV appearance? Wait. Does it count if you’re mentioned as falling victim to an easy prank at a McDonald’s? In that case…it’s magic. Which is all in the family, as Nate Bargatze also filled the audience in on what it’s like to grow up with a father in show business — his dad, Stephen Bargatze, was a clown until Nate was about 12, and since then has been and continues to perform as a magician. I’m just giving you the facts. I’ll let Nate give you the jokes.

Roll the clip!
