What do you think Jimmy Kimmel thinks about NBC replacing Leno with Fallon?

Of course, Jimmy Kimmel has opinions about the latest chapter that is the ongoing saga of NBC screwing around with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Kimmel has impersonated Leno for an entire episode of his own late-night show, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, which just moved up a half-hour in 2013 to take on Leno (and Kimmel’s idol, David Letterman) more directly in the ratings. And Kimmel often has expressed his own distaste for Leno’s comedy and TV show in interviews.

Care to guess how he felt about this latest plan by NBC to replace Leno with Jimmy Fallon?

On Thursday’s edition of The Lead with Jake Tapper on CNN, Kimmel said: “Obviously, NBC is looking to move on, because they did it once already. This would be the second time that this has happened. So I mean, it makes perfect sense. And Jimmy Fallon is doing a great job.”

Later in the same interview, though, Kimmel also noted that he’s more likely himself to watch CBS and his idol Letterman in late-night, and offered: “The margins between us are so slim, it’s not like a prize fight, where you go in and you’re actually knocking somebody out. The truth is three shows can be successful simultaneously, and all do perfectly well, and everybody wins.”
