Movie trailer: “Women Aren’t Funny”

Bonnie McFarlane and Rich Vos are wife and husband, both of them stand-up comedians.

In their new documentary directed by McFarlane and shot by Vos, Women Aren’t Funny, they interview comedians, club owners, talent bookers and writers about the topic that never seems to let up against women in comedy.

Here’s a sneak peak, with quotes from the late Patrice O’Neal, Artie Lange, Judy Gold, Colin Quinn, Chelsea Peretti, Wanda Sykes, Dane Cook, Andy Kindler and more.

Roll the clip!

If you’re in or near NYC, you can see the whole film on Feb. 9, 2013, at the Athena Film Festival.
