Congrats go out to Gina Brillon and Jon Laster, who each has earned a one-year talent holding deal with NBCUniversal for winning 2012’s NBC Stand-Up For Diversity talent search. Jon Laster is from Denver but moved to NYC after college to pursue his stand-up career. From Funny or Die to Sundance to Comedy Central series: The history of “Drunk History”

Drunk History isn’t the first webseries to become a TV series, but it is among the more celebrated ones to make the jump.
