The PIT to launch an annual New York City podcast festival
If you thought comedians had launched enough podcasts for there to be a festival just for them, then you're thinking what the fine folks at The People's Improv Theatre in NYC were thinking.
The PIT announced Monday afternoon it would host "the first-ever, first-annual" New York City Podcast Festival, starting on or about Jan. 12, 2013, as depicted in this early promotional poster above.
Announced participants so far for the first NYC PODFEST include:

- Risk! with Kevin Allison

- It’s That Episode with Craig Rowin
- Comic Book Club
- The PITcast
- Here to Help with Andy Rocco
- My Dumb Friends with Dan St. Germain and Sean Donnelly
- ThisMyShow
- PodAwful With Jesse P-S
- And many more!
We'll just have to wait a little while to find out who and how many make up that more.
