“Bunk” Yourself and win $300 in improv classes

It’s one thing to talk about a TV show on Twitter while it’s on. It’s another thing — or about $300 in other things — to win money to take improv comedy classes because you said something meaningful on Twitter about that TV show.

That’s what IFC’s Bunk is doing for the rest of the summer.

Called “Bunk Yourself,” IFC is offering a $300 voucher toward improv comedy classes each weekend, from when Bunk airs at 10:30 p.m. Eastern/Pacific through 4 a.m. Eastern the following morning. Winners will be announced on Monday mornings each week through the season finale on Aug. 10. Just follow @IFCBunk and take on the weekly challenges that are thrown down during each airing of Bunk.

Here’s a list of the schools on board with the IFC Bunk challenge offer:

Second City – L.A./Chicago

Dirty South Comedy Theater – Carrboro, NC

Empire Comedy – Reno, NV

ComedySportz Indianapolis – Indianapolis, IN

Magnet Theater – New York, NY

Kick Comedy Theater – Kansas City, MO

American Comedy Institute – New York, NY

Unexpected Productions – Seattle, WA

Live near a school that’s not on the list? Email IFCBunk@gmail.com and they’ll reach out to them.
