Watch the first episode of NBC’s “Best Friends Forever” online before it’s on TV

NBC’s Best Friends Forever doesn’t debut on the primetime TV schedule until April 4, 2012. But the network has made the first episode available online now for you to catch a sneak preview of the midseason series. This formula worked well last fall for FOX with New Girl. Let’s see how it does for BFFs Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham, who star in it and wrote the pilot — which was reshot after fellow UCB player Adam Pally stuck around on ABC’s Happy Endings. Fellow UCB player Luka Jones filled the slot instead as Lennon’s live-in boyfriend, who learns he has to share Lennon once Jessica moves back to NYC.

Have 23 minutes to spare? When you do, roll it!

And if you’d like to go behind the scenes, check out this clip, which also features executive producer and director Fred Savage.
