Teaser trailer for “The Bitter Buddha: Eddie Pepitone”

Eddie Pepitone is a Los Angeles comedian from New York whom you may know from his small role in the movie, Old School, or…why don’t I just let you watch these comedians tell you who Pepitone is, in this teaser trailer for the upcoming documentary on him called The Bitter Buddha.

Among the comedians who talk about Pepitone’s place in comedy and show business: Andy Daly, Andy Kindler, BJ Novak, Dana Gould, James Adomian, Jen Kirkman, Jim Earl, Leo Allen, Marc Maron, Matt Oswalt, Patton Oswalt, Paul F. Tompkins, Paul Provenza, Rob Huebel, Sarah Silverman, Scott Aukerman, Sean Conroy, Todd Barry, Todd Glass and  Zach Galifianakis.

Roll the clip!

The filmmakers told me it’s only been screened a couple of times to small groups in L.A., and only now being submitted for the film festival circuit.

Director Steven Feinartz wrote on the clip’s YouTube page on Friday: “Thanks for the support you guys. We’re finishing the film in color correction right now, and starting to look into distribution. Come join us at the Facebook Page for more updates to come…”
