Patrice O’Neal’s “Mr. P” debuts at #35 on Billboard album charts

Patrice O’Neal’s posthumous comedy CD, Mr. P, debuted last week at #35 on the Billboard 200 album charts.

That’s the best bow for a comedian since last year’s Alpacolypse by “Weird” Al Yankovic, and the highest chart position for a stand-up comedian in several years. It remained the top-selling comedy album in its second week.

That’s also great news for O’Neal’s surviving family, as all of the proceeds from the sale of Mr. P go to help them.
