Comedy Central orders eight episodes of “Mash Up” showcases hosted by T.J. Miller

Turns out Comedy Central loved Mash Up, after all.

Almost a year since broadcasting the initial stand-up/film/visual comedy special from T.J. Miller and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Comedy Central has ordered eight new half-hour episodes of Mash Up. The original special featured Hannibal Buress, Kumail Nanjiani, Matt Braunger and Kyle Kinane.

I’d spoken to Vogt-Roberts two years ago when they were preparing to tape the initial showcase for Comedy Central.

Congrats, guys!
