Friendly sports championship wagers aren’t just for mayors anymore.
New York City’s The PIT (Peoples Improv Theater) has put a challenge to Boston’s Improv Asylum that hinges upon Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.
The losing team’s representative comedy venue must travel to the winning city’s venue, dress in the winning team’s gear and put on a live show based on how wonderful the winning region is.
As The PIT’s Sarah Shelton said, “It’s NYC vs. Boston, it’s laughter, it’s humiliation, and it’s all around good fun.”
Any other comedy venues or comedians have interesting bets/challenges wagered on the Super Bowl this year?
