Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” video, re-enacted by SNL’s Taran Killam

One of the more interesting aspects of a week in the life of Saturday Night Live is the ritual of staying up all night Tuesday into Wednesday morning to write sketches in time for the weekly table read.

With the original cast, this could include all sorts of drug use and sex in the office. With the 2011-2012 cast of season 37, it may include writers and cast members helping cast member Taran Killam re-enact the music video for “Call Your Girlfriend” by last week’s musical guest Robyn.

Killam gets a little help from his friends, including Bobby Moynihan, Vanessa Bayer, Abby Elliott and Sarah Schneider.

I think we’d all agree that uploading a clip from each week’s all-nighter would be a bucket full of YES, please.

Roll the clip!
