by David Wain is back with new episodes of the fifth season of “Wainy Days,” in which he bags all of the hot chicks you’ve dreamed of. Only bagged doesn’t mean what you think it means. You know what I mean. Roll the clips!
Future episodes will show up on Mondays, with the season finale on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. And that Fiat car that Jennifer Lopez touts is now sponsoring the show. Even though none of it is shot in the Bronx. Shocking! But true!

We love that FIAT is now backing great original comedy online as the first official sponsor of Wainy Days.”
Wain adds: “My hope is that the ‘let David do exactly what he wants’ formula will now be embraced by the rest of the entertainment industry, as well as my wife.”
Wainy Days follows David Wain’s (slightly) fictionalized adventures looking for love in New York City. In season 5, Wain is joined by an all-star cast of characters, many of which serve as targets of his pursuit and/or get in the way as he gives it his best try. These include Ken Marino (Childrens Hospital, Party Down), Steven Weber (Falling Skies, Wings), Lizzy Caplan (Party Down, True Blood), Erinn Hayes (Childrens Hospital, Parenthood), Jorma Taccone (Saturday Night Live, The Lonely Island), Zandy Hartig (Childrens Hospital) and Thomas Lennon (The State, Reno 911). Wain & Marino have collaborated often. The two wrote and produced the new comedy feature Wanderlust, opening February 24, also directed by Wain and starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston. Wain’s many comedy credits include The State, Stella, Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten, Role Models and Childrens Hospital.
