Guess who doesn’t want to air Colbert SuperPAC’s ad supporting the NBA owners during lockout

Stephen Colbert’s Super Political Action Committee produced a new TV ad this month supporting the NBA owners during the pro hoops lockout, which already has prompted the cancellation of the first two weeks of the 2011-2012 season.

On last night’s Colbert Report, Colbert said they bought ad time on the Dallas ABC affiliate — home of Mark Cuban and the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks. Except the TV station, WFAA, Channel 8, refused to play the commercial. Why dat? Or is there another theory at play here? Roll the clip!
