Chris Tucker faces foreclosure on multimillion-dollar Florida mansion

If the thought of owing the IRS more than $11 milion in unpaid back taxes wasn’t enough, Chris Tucker also finds himself facing foreclosure as SunTrust Bank filed papers against the comedian/actor earlier this week, the AP reported today.

According to documents obtained by the AP, Tucker bought a 10,000-square-foot lakefront home in the Bella Collina community for $6 million in 2007 — but still owes more than $4.4 million on it. That’s despite the fact that Tucker is upside-down on the home now, with the Lake County appraiser assessing the property at only $1.6 million now.

A couple of weeks ago, though, Tucker could make light of his situation during a stand-up gig in Miami Beach, quipping: “That’s the last time I let Wesley Snipes help me out with my taxes.” (via Miami New Times)
