Comedians to dissect “Guy Code” for MTV2 in new weekly series

MTV Networks has announced the launch of a new talk show that will gather comedians, athletes and “pop culture entertainers” to discuss how men behave in MTV2’s Guy Code — premiering at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Regular segments will include celebrities talking about what makes for a “Good Ass Night,” and profiles of guys who have landed the “Best Job Ever.”

Talent on the show includes comedians Andrew Schulz, Dan St. Germain, Dean Edwards, Donnell Rawlings, Jordan Carlos and Lil Duval, plus models April Rose and Melanie Iglesias. Vinny Guadagnino from MTV’s Jersey Shore will make special guest appearances on the show throughout the ten-episode season.

“As the cultural home of the Male-ennial, MTV2 provides guys with the social ammunition and humor they’re seeking,” said Paul Ricci, Senior Vice President of Programming and Head of Development for MTV2. “MTV2’s Guy Code is the latest addition to our original line-up, offering an irreverent take on the playbook from which all guys should live.”

Here’s a quick teaser promo for the show. Roll it.

Guy Code was developed by Ryan Ling, who also serves as Executive Producer. Paul Ricci and Darin Byrne are Executive Producers for MTV2. Andrew Stuckey will direct. The series is an original production by MTV Networks.
