FEBRUARY 2012: North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival. Stand-up runs Feb. 1-4 and features Mike Birbiglia; sketch runs Feb. 8-12 and features Second City; improv runs Feb. 14-19 and features The Magnet Tourco, Beatbox and more. Early deadline is 10/15 ($20), late deadline is 11/15 ($35). Go here to submit.
MARCH 2012: Women in Comedy Festival, Boston/Cambridge. Shows, panels and workshops run from March 21-25. Deadlines for instructor applications are Oct. 18 and Oct. 25; for show applications, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
