TV zombie chat: AMC orders “Talking Dead” with Chris Hardwick

Fans of the AMC zombie series, The Walking Dead, will have comedian Chris Hardwick to talk them through its second season this fall — the cable channel announced today that it had ordered a half-hour chat show hosted by him to air following new episodes. Actually, Talking Dead will premiere following the encore presentation of The Walking Dead on Sunday, Oct. 16. Beginning Friday, Nov. 4, episodes will follow the 11 p.m. encore airing. Stand-up comedian/actor/author Judah Friedlander — series regular on 30 Rock, 2004 Independent Spirit Awards Best Supporting Actor nominee for Amercian Splendor and author of “How To Beat Up Anybody”  –has left both his management, 3 Arts Entertainment, and agency, The Gersh Agency.
