Comedy winners from the 2011 Emmy Awards

Why yes, this moment in which Amy Poehler led all of the nominees in barnstorming the stage for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category was the bestest last night.

Would it have been nice if Poehler also had won the Emmy? Why, yes, also that. But having a McCarthy win is nice in my book, too. (No relation) And as much as we all would have warmed our hearts had Emmy graced Steve Carell’s Michael Scott with a trophy, those of us who watch The Big Bang Theory know that Jim Parsons does good work.

Other highlights from the 2011 Emmys included: The wrestling Jimmys (Fallon and Kimmel), Jon Stewart’s praise of Stephen Colbert, and Dinklage!
