Olivia Wingate brings her artists to The Artists Organization

Here’s some industry news to chew on just as the comedy industry settles into Montreal: Olivia Wingate has just announced that she’s no longer head of Olivia Wingate Artists, instead helping The Artists Organization expand into comedy management by bringing her eclectic mix of U.S. and U.K. clients into their fold.

Her client list is fairly well-represented in Montreal this week, with Marc Maron, Reggie Watts, Eugene Mirman and “New Face” Dan St. Germain all performing. The full list:

ADIRA AMRAM
ANDRES DU BOUCHET
DAN ST. GERMAIN
EUGENE MIRMAN (and EUGENE MIRMAN & PRETTY GOOD FRIENDS)
GLENN WOOL
JAMES SERAFINOWICZ
JOHN ROBERTS
MAEVE HIGGINS
MARC MARON (and WTF with MARC MARON)
MATT MCCARTHY
REGGIE WATTS
ROBIN INCE
TOM ALLEN
TOM SHILLUE

Wingate had formed her own management company in 2000. She joins TAO, founded by Gary Gersh and managing artists such as John Legend, Chris Cornell and Matisyahu.

“This move opens up a wealth of opportunities for all of my clients” said Wingate. “This union between the Comedy, Music and Entertainment industries creates an endless amount of possibilities that I am thrilled to explore with the TAO team.”

“Olivia represents some of the most talented and innovative comedians performing today,” said Gary Gersh, founder and CEO of The Artists Organization. “We welcome her and look forward to working with the comedians she represents as TAO continues its expansion into management of artists of all kinds.”

  1. I am interested in an interview with Mark Maron. I am also interested in an agent as well. I am currently shooting a new sizzle reel with A. Smith&Co, but would like to keep any options open. I have thought about finding an agent or publicist, so please contact me if you have any interest.
    Best wishes,
