MTV sets Aug. 29 due date for “Death Valley,” starring Bryan Callen, Charlie Sanders and more

Remember that horror comedy Death Valley I was telling you about before that MTV had ordered last fall? MTV announced it’ll premiere the new series at 10:30 p.m. Mondays, starting Aug. 29, 2011.

It’s a documentary-style look at the LAPD’s newly-formed “Undead Task Force,” tasked to go after the vampires, werewolves (except Teen Wolf, although that’d be a freaky cross-over stunt episode, wouldn’t it?) and zombies that live in the San Fernando Valley. Death Valley stars comedians Bryan Callen and Charlie Sanders alongside Tania Raymonde (Lost), Caity Lotz (Mad Men), Bryce Johnson and Texas Battle.

Here’s a two-minute trailer to get you riled up! Roll it!
