NBC continues stand-up shopping spree, dealing in Dan Levy for net’s fifth comedian sitcom in month

And that's just counting the stand-up comedians who have made headlines! I wonder if NBC has deals with several other comics that we haven't heard about yet…

THR just reported that Dan Levy is working with producer Jamie Tarses and NBC on a potential new sitcom. THR says "Levy is working on Several Children, about a businesswomen who lives in a houseful of "kids" — such as her much younger husband, their two children and occasionally her husband's friends." Levy's New Wave team also is executive producing the project.

This follows deals NBC already has made in the past month to develop sitcoms with Whitney Cummings (Oct. 20), Chelsea Handler (Nov. 3), Russell Peters (Nov. 5), and Nick Thune (Nov. 15).

If you haven't already gotten a call from the Peacock Network, let me know and I'll send your digits their way!
