Comedy Central bringing free all-star comedy show, panels to Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego

Comedy Central has had a presence at previous editions of Comic-Con, the annual convention of comic fans in San Diego, but this summer, the cable network appears to be doing more to entertain you freaks and geeks.

On Saturday, July 24, 2010, Comedy Central presents a free show at the House of Blues hosted by Pete Holmes (who provides voices on "Ugly Americans"), which includes clips from the network's upcoming new series, plus performances by "Ugly Americans" cast members Maria Bamford, Kurt Metzger, Matt Oberg and Randy Pearlstein; "Big Lake" cast members Chris Gethard and Horatio Sanz; "Pretend Time with Nick Swardson's" Nick Swardson; and "Workaholics'" Adam DeVine.

At Comic-Con itself, Comedy Central will host panels for "Ugly Americans" on July 23 and "Futurama" on July 24 featuring exclusive footage, cast members and Q&As.

  1. Comedy Central is going to kill it at Comic Con this year! They have a bunch of awesome panels and interviews going on with show writers and they’re also hosting an after-party event at the House of Blues on the 24th. It’s going to be so sweet!
