Comedy Central won’t be sharing any more “Issues” for “Michael & Michael” as series is not renewed

Fans of Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter may be excused for feeling a bit of deja vu right about now, because in a repeat of what happened when they teamed up with David Wain for their 2005 series, Stella, they've found out that their 2009 series, Michael and Michael Have Issues, also is done after only one season on Comedy Central. No formal reason has been given yet for the show's cancellation, or non-renewal.

Maybe if Black and Sho still have "issues," they can try taking their longstanding friendship feud to NBC's The Marriage Ref to solve them?

According to the show's online site, these were the guys' favorite moments from the season. Here's Showalter's favorite moments, which include sweatpants, bunny stomping, pee, and poo. Roll the clips!

And here's Black's favorite moments, which include Showalter as a "quiet" weatherman, mattresses, farts and frogs. Roll the clips!

  1. I know it is all about ratings, but really…they’ve canceled MST3K, Stella, Reno 911 and now MMHI. Not the best track record on judging quality.

  2. How do you know this? Black and Sho have yet to state this publicly and there is nothing on the web from Comedy Central confirming this either.

  3. Wow,great content and your blog template is so beautiful. Is this template free or not. If so, would you please share this template? if not, how much does it cost? Thanks a lot!

  4. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Like giving these idiots another show. They are not funny. They’re probably good writers and they can make a living on those VH1 shows where they make stupid comments about different decades. Comedy Central, thank you. Tosh.0 is your new cash cow so milk it!

  5. Unbelievable. Once again, Comedy Central screws up and cancels the wrong show – keeping barely mediocre crap like Mencia – and dropping fresh edgy hilarious shows like Stella and MMHI. Sometimes out of the box humor has to find its particular audience. At first, not everyone “got” Reno 911 for example, either. CC allowed them to gain their audience season after season. Why couldn’t they give MMHI the same benefit?
I hope another network picks it up or at least grabs these guys ASAP. They are truly brilliant.
