Comedy Central Presents: Rob Stapleton

Fun fact about Rob Stapleton's half-hour Comedy Central Presents: The backdrop is meant to evoke the illusion that Stapleton is performing on the subway platform of his Bronx stop near Yankee Stadium. But this is no ordinary busker show. Stapleton works up a sweat early and often throughout this set, tailoring it to the local crowd with jokes about people who read off of your newspaper on the subway, why New York City cannot have good strip clubs, the lack of "neighborhood" Olympic events, mug shots for shoplifters, roaches, how black people and white people treat cookouts differently, and a planned sketch with himself involving a phone call for drugs.
