Allow me to reintroduce you to a friend and fellow colleague in the trenches of comedy journalism, Nick A. Zaino III. You may have seen his name in my blogroll as The Optimistic Curmudgeon. But those of you in the Boston area, comedians and comedy fans alike, have seen his byline for the better part of a decade in newsprint, the past several years freelancing a weekly Comedy Notes column for the Boston Globe. Well, the Globe, much like newspapers across the country, has slashed its newsroom payrolls and coverage and Nick's column seems to be yet another casualty. So Nick has joined the online fray with a new blog to contain all of his Boston comedy coverage supposedly no longer fit for print, the aptly-named Boston Comedy. Please check it out, and tell Nick I sent you!
